Shedding Angels
thesis

Logan, stuck in his high school glory days, loves to win; but for the past decade he’s done anything but. Candice, with her seemingly best days behind her, keeps alive what she’s lost through memories and stories shared at her weekly yard sales. With nothing but the gold in mind for an annual costume party, Logan stumbles upon Candice’s therapy and slips away with something he wasn’t supposed to - her late husbands war uniforms. After a wild win, and still fully costumed, Logan stumbles home only to run right into Candice. Both paralyzed in horror, Candice relives her marriage… with Logan.
Shedding Angels recognizes, and celebrates the dichotomy between one who carries rich life experience, and one who truly hasn't lived. We looked to bring a sharp twist on the traditional ideas of agism and connection, all at the hands of deception.
